Adjunct Faculty Jobs
Adjunct faculty members, or part-time instructors, serve a critical role at NWACC and teach a significant percentage of the college's classes.
Your real-world and business experience is highly valuable, and sharing your expertise
with students can help change countless lives and improve the vitality of the surrounding
workforce.
Adjunct faculty are hired based on need and paid based on the number of courses taught. They are not required to perform other duties that full-time faculty members perform, such as scholarly activity or service.

Minimum Requirements to be an Adjunct Faculty Member:
- Education, experience and certificate/license requirement vary by the subject and the course being taught.
- For career and technical programs, NWACC can consider professional experience, industry certifications and licensure toward teaching qualifications.
Teaching Courses:
- Courses can be taught at NWACC's locations in Benton and Washington Counties.
- Adjuncts can teach one or more courses, up to 20 semester hours in a calendar year.
- Course times vary and include day, evening and weekend offerings.
- Many online courses are available to adjuncts with the same expert level of training and support provided to our full-time faculty.
Pay:
Adjunct faculty members are paid $765 per credit hour taught.

Adjunct Job Openings:
Adjunct job openings are posted year-round, and candidates are contacted based on course needs. Adjuncts are typically hired prior to the start of the fall/spring semesters, but openings can arise at any time.
