Geography
Geography courses go beyond the memorization of names and locations of countries, cities, capitals and rivers. You'll learn about the earth and its landscapes, environments, people and places by examining the dynamics of cultures, societies and economies, as well as the physical
land and environment.
Geography courses can fulfill general education requirements for many of NWACC's degree
paths and be transferred to a four-year university.
If you decide to transfer and pursue a bachelor's degree in geography, you can find employment opportunities in weather and climate, policy research, lobbying, surveying, architecture, logistics and more.
