Programs & Applications
Initiate the first step in your nursing career by applying to a nursing program. NWACC offers a number of tracks. Feel free to view the information below to learn more.
Nursing program applicants for any track must meet the following criteria:
- Be an NWACC student
- Be 18 years of age
- Have completed pre-nursing general education courses
- View required coursework
- Complete the National League for Nursing (NLN) entrance exam with a pass rate of 70% or better in each of the three categories: math, science and reading.
Track I Traditional - Benton County
Track I Traditional - Benton County: This nursing program begins in the fall and runs through four traditional semesters - fall, spring, fall, spring. This program excludes the summer semester.
Track I Traditional application period is April 1st - April 30th
Track I Traditional - Washington County
Track I Traditional - Washington County: This nursing program is located at NWACC-Washington County and begins in the fall and runs through four traditional semesters - fall, spring, fall and spring. Clinicals are nights and weekends.
Track I Traditional - Washington County application period is April 1st - April 30th
Track II Accelerated - Benton County
Applicants to Track II must apply to either Benton County or Washington County. You cannot apply to both. You cannot change campuses at a later point in the application process.
Track II Accelerated - Benton County: This nursing program is located at NWACC-Benton County and begins in the summer and runs through four consecutive semesters - summer, fall, spring, summer.
Track II Accelerated application period is Nov. 1st - Nov. 30th
Track II Accelerated - Washington County
Track II - Accelerated - Washington County: This nursing program is located at NWACC - Washington County and begins in the summer and runs through four consecutive semesters - summer, fall, spring, summer.
Track II - Washington County application period is Nov. 1st - Nov. 30th
LPN/Paramedic to RN Bridge
LPN/Paramedic to RN Bridge: This nursing program begins in the spring and runs through three traditional semesters - spring, summer, and fall.
LPN/Paramedic to RN Bridge application period is Aug. 1st - Aug. 31st

Practical Nursing
The Practical Nursing program begins in the spring and runs through three semesters – spring, summer and fall.
Practical Nursing application period is July 1st - July 31st
