Fire Science
Fire science is the study of all aspects of fire, from fire behavior to fire investigation. If you'd like to become a firefighter or obtain a career in fire prevention, protection or safety, an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Science Administration and Technology may be for you!
Fire science offers challenging professions that may require working in dangerous, but rewarding circumstances. Today's professionals not only fight fires, but respond to incidents that involve medical emergencies or hazardous waste, confined space or high angle rescues, and other emergency situations.
NWACC's Certificate of Proficiency in Fire Science. Fire Science Administration and Technology is designed to prepare you for entering the field of fire science or working towards a position of leadership within a fire department. You may also choose to continue your education toward earning a bachelor's degree.
